In the Know: PicMonkey Where Photoshop + Illustrator Makeout

I love photography! And good thing, because as a maker + a blogger I rely heavily on images to help communicate the story of my brand.  You've heard me talk a great deal about Instagram, click here for my tips to drop some serious science on your IG game,  and you know I'm always on the look out for how to push the envelope when it comes to photo styling for Zelma Rose. There are so many things to explore in the realm of photography and as a maker + blogger the list of uses is quite long. I use images for everything from communicating product and designs, to advertisements, coupon codes, and interviews. I love a good editing tool and for years was relying mostly on a combination of Photoshop + Illustrator to edit and create photos for ZR. These are great tools and I highly recommend them for upping your photography game. But, I've discovered something even better and can't stop talking about it! Enter PicMonkey, pretty much the most perfect photo editing tool around! And it's free!  Want to learn more? Sign up for my PicMonkey class September 30th at Makeshift Society for a full on tutorial of how to make the most of this amazing tool.

So how do I know so much about PicMonkey? Well, if you are a friend and follower of ZR, you see me using PicMonkey everyday. I used it to make the super cute graphic above, I use it to create the collages on the Blog, and to make on the fly Look Books and special promotions and in store displays for my stockists. I think of PicMonkey as your business and blogging secret weapon. It allows you to quickly create professional looking graphics and photos on the fly. While we all need to get professional help in the graphics and photography departments, PicMonkey allows all soloprenuers out there to pull together some amazing results on our own. Here are some of my favorite images that I have created all with this free wonder tool!

It's a great way to get started and explore all the amazing things you can do with PicMonkey.  Comment below with your questions and let me know if you are interested in me adding a few tutorials to the blog.

See you in class!
